Autumn Bellydancing Classes At Little Egypt Studio, Edinburgh

bellydancing edinburgh partyWe return to vibration raising, goddess honouring, full shimmies after the summer with a brand new 8 week term of regular classes at Little Egypt Studio, Edinburgh!

Running from Monday 21st August to Sunday 15th October 2017 with Scotland’s largest timetable of bellydance classes – you can study Egyptian, Lebanese, Turkish, Moroccan, Persian and Greek dancing, in styles such as Oriental, Cabaret, Tribal Fusion, Traditional and Folkloric with props like veils, canes and finger cymbals – any day of the week from Monday to Friday plus some special weekends as well – all under one (rather magical) tin roof and with a number of Scotland’s other seriously talented teachers now working from Little Egypt Studio and an abundance of our community friends joining too, who would want to be anywhere else?!

Join us in this fabulous 1.5hr special edition summer class series. …Your only chance to get your weekly shimmy fix over the summer!

Little Egypt Director, Lindsey Marie Silver, invites you to enjoy an exclusive 4 week block of extended classes combining elements of thee most popular bellydance classes in town: BellyBasics™, BellyDance™, BellyDance-A-Long™, BellyJam™ and BellyStretch™.

Excellent if you’d like an energising, relaxing and refreshing all round body, mind and soul exercise ahead of next term.

There are only a limited number of spaces available in this class and as it’s the only weekly class it’s anticipated they will book up FAST!

Absolute beginners & more experienced dancers are invited to attend
Suitable for all ages and fitness levels
- Please bring an exercise mat and a towel or blanket.
- Wear comfortable clothing – leggings, fitted t-shirt/vest top, bare feet/FootGloves and a hipscarf if you have one. For obvious hygiene reasons we do not loan out hip scarves. Hip scarves are available to purchase from our souk ranging from practice scarves to designer and professional quality scarves.
- Veil dancing technique may be introduced during the term. In this case, notice will be given to bring your own and/or class veils will be provided to borrow.
Rehydrate with water/juice. Refreshments available at the studio.

What is “neutral”?
What is YOUR neutral and how can you improve it?

True understanding brings about true results.

Finding Neutral: A Postural Masterclass
Saturday 1st July 2017, 11am-1pm, Little Egypt Studio, 11c Murieston Lane, EH11 2LX

During this postural masterclass we will work together to answer these questions and more. Conducting a personal postural analysis and applying our findings to your own unique physiology both theoretically and practically.

Freeing you from risk of injury, back pain, joint pain, muscular tension, fatigue, migraine, digestive issues and improving your quality of movement and physical life experience.

This workshop will be delivered by Lindsey who’s expertise has been sought out by Edinburgh Council, Midlothian Council, Health Wellbeing & Social Sciences at Edinburgh College & Heriot Watt University.

Please dress in stretchy form-fitting clothing and bring an exercise mat. Learning materials will be provided.

Class size will be small in order that individual needs can be met.
