Fringe Festival, Fairs & Gala Day Fun – Mala’ikah Style!

Posted by +Bellydancingbarbie on August 30th, 2012

The months of May, June, July and August, as you can imagine, have been MENTAL! and fabulous and everything else in between! I’ve been performing, teaching, modelling and floating around at all kinds of exciting events. That’s not all though, something else, something very exciting has been happening at some events over the summer …I’ve had company!!!

Our class troupe, The Mala’ikah Project, have taken to flight this summer and it feels very much like a dream come true, for all of us. I’m looking forward to sharing news of troupe adventures with you all here and over on our dedicated facebook page The Mala’ikah Project.

Here’s a few shots taken at some public community & charity events over the summer months… (double click to enlarge, use browser back button to return)

…and these are just a few! I’ve also been busy dancing at private hire events including hen parties, wedding receptions, birthdays, festival shows, wrap parties and I also enjoyed performing a set in Harvey Nichols!

The fun doesn’t stop here either, we’ll soon be coming into party and winter wedding season! :)

To book a professional performance check out the HIRE page and submit an enquiry form. To book a performance from our class troupe at your community or charity event email with details of your event.

Whilst writing I’ve just received my first enquiry for a performance at a wedding taking place in August 2013 so I imagine next summer will be choc full of even more fun than 2012, if that’s possible! ..but of course it is, anything’s possible.

Shimmies & exciting times,
