Being popular and well established all Bellydancingbarbie classes & workshops promote a real sense of community!

Women like you come along each week to learn the mesmerising movements of this ancient artform. They also come along to relax & unwind and to take the valuable time they deserve to strengthen themselves physically & emotionally, enabling them to give back more in all areas of their lives.

Driven by a love of people and a respect for individuality we take a holistic approach to teaching and place an emphasis on your enjoyment! Your wellbeing is high on our priority list and extensive training has been undertaken to ensure sessions are both authentic and safe.

For a rounded learning experience we add elements such as musicality, the evolution of belly dance, performance & expression, confidence & style building flair. Bonus 'lesson summary' notes for many of our regular sessions are exclusively available over on the belly dancing chat page. These can be read at your leisure and can help aid your learning, understanding and progression.

This fabulous class opens up the fundamental elements of belly dance and focuses on learning the basic moves characteristic of all styles.

Moves are thoroughly broken down in each class and lesson summaries are provided to heighten learning and maximise your progression. Lindsey's open teaching style leaves you positively glowing!

Through regular BellyBasics classes you will also benefit from the vast health and fitness benefits of belly dancing. Increasing predominantly core strength, muscle tone, flexibility and coordination.

Set to the mellow sounds of Arabian lounge with ambient lighting and warmth, this is devine chillout.

This vibrant new class opens up the creative, stylised world of Tribal Fusion Bellydance.

Combining basic movements from traditional, oriental and tribal style bellydance, you will gradually fuse these with basic elements of hip hop, flamenco, jazz and a variety of other dance genres.

Taught by Tigerlily, who's teaching is informed by her professional stage dance training and infused with her enthusiasm and friendly personality.

Through regular BellyFusion classes you will increase general fitness levels, learn isolations, pops, locks and some of that unique Tribal Fusion "Je ne sais quoi"!

This fun follow-my-lead class enables you to utilise your current bellydance repertoire of moves in an hour of uninterrupted, not taught but instructed, bellydance.

BellyDance-A-Long bridges the gap between learning the technique in your other classes and being able to fluently dance it. In each class you will be led through a series of dance pieces and will get to experience a variety of Bellydancing and Middle Easter dance styles. This is not a choreography class it's being led through the movements you already know, linking one with another to produce a dance enjoyed right there, in the moment.

Plently of visual and audio queues are given to ensure you are always able to keep up and sessions are tailored to the strengths of individuals who attend. Through its easy going approach you will develop your transitional skills, general dance ability and gro to hold yourself with confidence, grace & poise.

Switch off and enjoy a jolly good BellyDance-A-Long!

  • Suitable for those who have attended minimum 2 terms BellyDance or 3 terms of an "improvers" class elsewhere
